Extended Cookie Manager 0.9
You waited for a new release with a load of helpful new features? Here it comes. It’s my personal goal to make everything that has to do with everyday use of cookies a lot easier. I was always a bit annoyed of how all kind of new features get into Firefox 3, but when you look at the cookie exception dialog, it has the old, moldering look from 2003. Not only that it looked old, the usability was bad. You wanted to find a website to delete it? You had to go through the whole list manually, searching for all appearances of one site, sometimes starting with “www.” or other subdomains.
This is why i now added a search function into the dialog. You also can now double-click on any of the rows to get the host into the textbox on the top. This is useful if you want to add a subdomain of an existing entry in the list or just remove the “www.” before the hostname.
Since there’s a brand new firefox version coming June 17th with new shiny icons, i also added some more modern styled cookie icons to my extension.
